The Passsionate Painter in Paris

Alvaro is one of hte world's most respected watercolour artists with a passion for his medium. He is an expressive painter with a strong and colourful style. Here he chooses to paint in Paris with its historic buildings and busy boulevards. His subjects include glistening wet pavements, bustling cafe scenes, the wonderful facade of L'Opera and Place Saint-Michel in the early morning.

Alvaro was born in Montevideo in Uruguay and moved to Australia in 1983. He has won numerous painting awards, travels extensively, is a member of several art societies and was elected a member of the American Watercolour Society in 2007. He is a successful author, holds highly popular workshops and his works are collected worldwide. He now lives back in Uruguay.

This is Alvaro's third film and follows on from the extremely popular INSPIRED WATERCOLOUR and THE PASSIONATE PAINTER IN ANTWERP - both available at Jenny Pihan Fine Art
